Protecting Constitutional freedom begins locally.
It starts with “weeding your own backyard.” by Dave Hindman (Comal County land-owner) April 1, 2024 What is a “Natural Area” and how can I go there? The answer is, “You can’t go there.” In “green” environmentalist parlance, a “Natural Area” is exactly that, by definition. It is a “no human access” zone or “no - go zone” because humans are not considered a natural part of the ecosystem under the “Green Agenda.” The only human access is to be reserved for the managing authority only. And, often, that managing authority is a nonprofit organization, not the government (although it can be under government control, of course). * (Note: environmentalist terminology tends to be amorphous. Definitions change to suit the agenda. What was a “Natural Area” today could be called “Conservation Lands” tomorrow. The bottom line is this plan creates the provision where tax-payer funded acquisitions can result in land which nobody can ever use under any circumstances and is reserved to plants and animals alone). What is the Comal County Parks, Open Space, and Natural Areas Master Plan? It is a plan which is being voted on this Thursday, April 4, 2024 at 8:30 AM at the Comal County Commissioners Court meeting. The plan is the attempt to use “development panic” to begin to acquire land portfolios, transferring title, or partial title, of private lands into the hands of nonprofit organizations and government, through a pseudo-consensus process (manipulation) which included only 1250 people and excludes the vast majority of Comal County voters. It is part of the “land grab” strategy, driven by United Nations Agenda 21. (The Green New Deal is, essentially, synonymous with Agenda 21. The Green New Deal is merely the new public relations and marketing campaign for UN Agenda 21). How did all this come about in Comal County? It began a little over a year ago with the award of a $140,000 contract to Halff Associates, a consulting and engineering firm, to begin holding public meetings and surveys. However, it was primarily only the membership and leadership of local environmentalist nonprofits who understood the plan’s true significance, so the process was heavily advertised internally, within these nonprofits. This resulted in an unbalanced attendance at these meetings of enviro-agenda-driven groups, rather than the average voter or taxpayer. Unfortunately, Halff corporate philosophies cause this architectural engineering firm to transgress the boundaries into “social engineering.” Don’t I want to restrict development and protect green space? Maybe. But, the question is, “what is the right way?” Private property owners with acreage are already protecting their own green spaces. However, environmentalists and governments want access to those green spaces in the name of conservation and preservation. What they really want is control. Development in Comal County is not being driven by greedy companies. Instead, it is being driven by greedy government. High costs which are complicated by high property taxes are driving property owners to either sell their land to developers or are forcing them to develop their own land so they can afford to keep it. Nobody wants to risk defaulting on taxes or loans, putting their land ownership and solvency in jeopardy. Government is using this situation to drive panicked residents into the arms of nonprofit environmentalist organizations who promise to preserve their rural way of life. However, these environmentalist organizations are the local outgrowth and implementation of global policy in the form of United Nations Agenda 21 (Green New Deal). Agenda 21 means, “The Agenda for the 21st Century.” It has nothing to do with the year “2021.” You will often hear of additional plans for the year 2030, 2045 and 2050. It is, without question, driven by anti-Constitution, Marxist-Fascist ideologies. This is not an exaggeration. This is a “bloodless coup d’etat” in the form of a “sustainable development” land-use planning revolution. So, what really is UN Agenda 21? It is the loss of all United States sovereignty. It is the loss of all Constitutional rights. It is “governance,” not government. It is control through unaccountable and unelected (to official government) board members, nonprofit organizations, and foundations, as well as unelected government appointees. It is like having the world’s largest, runaway Property Owners Association - only you don’t own any property because that would be “unsustainable.” It is totalitarian authoritarianism through environmentalism. It is redefining your thinking by redefining your terminology. For example, have you ever heard any of these words before?: Sustainability, resilience / resilient cities, stakeholders, best practices, Public / Private Partnerships, N.G.O.s (Non-Governmental Organizations), D.E.I. (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion), consensus, facilitate / facilitator, driver, preserve, preservation, conservation / conservancy, vision / visioning, calming / traffic calming, environmental justice, environmental equity, planning, Conservation Easements, endangered / endangered species, species reintroduction, quality of life, smart growth / smart cities, scenic views, view-sheds, smart streets, social justice, stack and pack (housing), initiative, habitat, communities / sustainable communities, Three Es (Equity, Economy, Environment), ICLEI (International Committee on Local Environmental Initiatives), revitalization, travel tax, walkable, bikeable, watershed, wetlands, wildlands, rewilding, multi-use, dwellings, “New Economy.” They are redefining your thinking by redefining terminology and building a new vocabulary to define your new reality. Agenda 21 is, ultimately: “The action plan to inventory and control all land, water, minerals, plants, animals, construction, means of production, education, energy, information and human beings in the world.” (Source: Rosa Koire, author of Behind the Green Mask). How can I help now? Email both your County Commissioner and County Judge Sherman Krause and insist that the Court reject and cancel this plan, despite it’s consulting and survey costs. It is better to take the $140,000 loss to Halff Associates for their work than it is to radically change the face of Comal County politics by supporting the restructuring of our government and our land-use processes and policies as dictated by the United Nations “climate change” agenda. Explain to them that, if they vote to pass this plan, you will not be able to support them in their next election cycle. Explain that, until that time, you intend to monitor their response and hold them accountable for their decision. After you send your email, make a quick call to their phone number to let them know to watch for your email. This plan is one of the finest examples of self-interested manipulation I have seen in Comal County. Links to the Master Plan and Appendices are at the end of this email. Citizens Comments are allowed (3 minutes per person) at the beginning of every Commissioners’ Court meeting prior to their voting on any Action Agenda items. The Court meets at the Comal County Court House, 100 N. Seguin Ave., New Braunfels, TX 78130, on the 2nd floor, this Thursday, April 4, 2024, at 8:30 AM. A Final Word: Some of the local environmentalist organizations involved in this project were (but not necessarily limited to): Hill Country Alliance, Comal County Conservation Alliance, Comal Trails Alliance The Great Springs Project (an in-progress plan to create a 100 mile long “walkable / bikeable” trail connecting natural springs from Austin to San Marcos to New Braunfels to San Antonio. It is unquestionably driven by ideologies part and parcel of the UN Agenda 21 / Green New Deal agenda. The Great Springs Project claims they will work with and negotiate with landowners to create one contiguous 100-mile-long walking/biking trail but they have not ruled out, ultimately, the possibility of eminent domain or condemnation land-takings). At least two of your County Commissioners are closely involved and actively cooperative with one or more of these organizations. Also, one of the Commissioner Candidates currently in a run-off election is an active participant on the Board of Directors of the Comal County Conservation Alliance. This memo merely scratches the surface of a much deeper, and broader issue. Many authors, researchers and patriots on both sides of the aisle have written and spoken to warn Americans of this dangerous trend which has permeated our society in unprecedented ways. Speaking up and showing up at Thursday’s vote (and by phone and email) is a practical, local way you can protect American Constitutional freedom. He had a segment where Pete Hegseth was debating Geraldo Rivera on whether we, the American public, should be able to own rifles such as the AR-15. Now, Rivera is an attorney and has been around for a hundred years (joke), so you would think he has some working gray matter beneath that salt-and-pepper hair. You tell me.
Rivera kept blaming the AR-15 for the several mass shootings we have had in our country in the last several years. He repeatedly made a fool of himself by calling this rifle a machine gun, and calling it an automatic weapon, neither of which is true. He rambled on that “no one” needs and AR-15. He thought he’d be cute and broke out an old 18th century musket and pontificated that this is what the Founders envisioned when they wrote the 2nd Amendment. If you haven’t figured it out already, Rivera is either an idiot or he thinks you are. In 1770, this musket was the latest technology. The colonists had it because the British had it, and the colonists needed to effectively counter the threat from the British army and the Hessian mercenaries. If there had been AR-15s around in 1770, both sides would have had them! The Founders enacted the 2nd Amendment so regular citizens would have the means to strike a healthy and sobering respect in the thinking of any potential tyrannically-leaning government. The problem with people like Rivera is that they think our government could never become tyrannical, oppressive, or overstep their boundaries. For all the traveling this guy claims to have done, he has learned nothing on this subject. People like Rivera think that it would never happen here. That is the thinking of a fool and someone who is ready to become a victim and fodder for tyrants. If you haven’t heard about the abuses committed by DOJ agencies and the IRS in the last several years, you’ve been living under a rock and are ready to have basic rights and freedoms taken from you and you don’t even realize it. I don’t know why Hegseth didn’t respond to Rivera this way, although I suspect Fox News would think it’s too blunt and/or inflammatory, but this is the 100% true and correct answer to the ridiculous statement by Rivera that none of us need anything like an AR-15 or a similar weapon: We the citizens of this republic need to be able to own rifles like an AR-15 because it is the closest thing to the weapons that government agencies including the military own and could potential bring to bear against us if they become tyrannical. We need to keep the thought in elected and non-elected government officials’ minds that if they ever try to turn their weapons against us, the price they will pay will be a bloody enormity on both sides. Biden likes to quip that if you want to fight the government, you need F-15s. I venture to say that if that feeble and mentally failing man, or anyone else, ever orders our F-15 pilots to attack their fellow citizens, those orders will be disregarded, and we may have a civil war. Every tyrant around the world disarms the citizenry as one of the first acts in consolidating power. I don’t know about you, but they’ll have to kill me, and I will do my level best to send as many of them to hell before they get me. Don’t ever let charlatans like Geraldo Rivera tell you that you don’t need an AR-15, which implies that you should trust the government blindly that they won’t ever move against you with force. My parents, my bothers, and I saw it firsthand in our native Cuba. My 91-year-old Mom says that in 1950s Cuba, no one there thought it would happen there. Take heed and learn the lessons from history and people like my family. I don’t care if the DC, New York, California and Woke crowd calls me a redneck, a yahoo, a hillbilly, or whatever. Keep your powder dry and invest in lots of brass. Their condescending words can’t hurt us and they’re too yellow-bellied to try to abuse us because they know the price will be too high. A ‘procedural’ day, it was filled with visiting Representatives’ & Senators’ swearing in ceremonies, and election of the Speaker of the House. The Senate swearing in was dignified and orderly, and the President of the Senate (Lt Governor Dan Patrick) respectful of the Senators’ and guests’ time. The House swearing in was interesting. And once the Speaker was elected, his ‘acceptance’ speech was almost painful to watch - one word: arrogance. And disdain for the US Congress Republicans and the Texas Senate. BSBCR members in the Capitol rotunda  Thursday the 12th was all about showing up in force (from all across Texas) to send a message: we will fight to get our Texas GOP Legislative Priorities passed - just because one was defeated doesn’t mean we will stop. Note: the "Ban Democrat Chairs" Legislative Priority was not passed on Jan 11. The Speaker, aided by Democrat AND Republican Reps, killed it before a vote could be taken. The House Gallery was filled with conservative activists wearing "Ban Democrat Chairs" t-shirts - BSBCR was in good company! (One report said at least a thousand activists showed up.) The House proceedings were, however, not impressive: the Speaker called for “House is at ease” breaks more than anything else. The House and Senate joint session that followed the morning proceedings was to appoint committee members to canvas the 2022 election votes for Governor & Lt Governor. The highlight of the morning was during an "at ease" break when Rep Bryan Slaton and Rep Tony Tinderholt showed up in the gallery. The "Ban Democrat Chairs" activists essentially shut down the House showing our support for the 2 Reps. BSB Conservative Republicans PAC First PAC in Texas to Declare Border Disaster At the October 1, 2022, meeting of the Bulverde Spring Branch Conservative Republicans (BSBCR), a "Resolution of a State of Disaster" was unanimously passed by the members. "Many Texas counties and at least 1 city have issued disaster declarations relating to the invasion that Texas is undergoing. The state of Texas, however, has not declared an invasion - yet. These county & city declarations are gaining momentum across the state, with the goal to have Governor Abbott recognize and formally declare an invasion," BSBCR President Kaci Sisk said. "The BSBCR Political Action Committee (PAC) feels that as an Action organization it is incumbent on us to stand up, speak out, and exercise our right to be heard. The border crisis must be resolved. Since Washington will not protect our country from invasion, Texas must." State Republican Executive Committee (SREC) Member Senate District 25, Chris Byrd stated, “This resolution is consistent with that passed by the SREC formally requesting such action on behalf of the Republican Party of Texas.” Bulverde Spring Branch Conservative Republicans (BSBCR) Political Action Committee (PAC) is an independent PAC, not affiliated with any other PAC. Resolution of a State of Disaster WHEREAS, the health, safety, and welfare of Comal County residents are under an imminent threat of disaster from the unprecedented levels of illegal immigration, human trafficking, and drug smuggling coming across the U.S. border from Mexico. WHEREAS, since January 2021, more than 3.2 million illegal aliens have been apprehended after unlawfully entering the United States. 1. More than 800,000 illegal aliens have avoided apprehension while unlawfully entering the United States and remain unaccounted for within our nation. 2. So far this year, CBP has identified more than 50 known terrorists who have unlawfully entered the United States through our unsecured border with Mexico. 3. The unprecedented amount of human trafficking, combined with the smuggling of fentanyl and other opioids infiltrating our border with Mexico has killed over 71,238 American citizens. 4. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BULVERDE SPRING BRANCH CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS PAC: 1. That the aforementioned recitation of facts is hereby adopted as findings of fact related to this resolution; and 2. That as a matter of law, the aforementioned facts constitute – among other things – an invasion of the State of Texas as the term “invasion” is used in Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution and in Article 4, Section 7 of the Texas Constitution; and 3. That pursuant to Section 433.005(a) of the Texas Government Code (Calling of State Military Forces) and Article 4, Section 7 of the Texas Constitution (Governor as commander-in-chief of military forces), this resolution hereby requests the Governor of Texas as Commander-in-Chief of the military forces of the State declare the existence of an invasion on its border with Mexico and take necessary actions to preserve and protect the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Texas; and 4. That this resolution hereby requests the Governor of Texas to act under the constitutional authority granted unto him under Article 4, Section 7 of the Texas Constitution and Article 1, Section 10, Clause 3 of the U.S. Constitution and immediately prevent and/or remove all persons invading the sovereignty of Texas and that of the United States; and 5. That a state of disaster is be declared for all of Texas, pursuant to Section 418.108(a) of the Texas Government Code; and 6. That pursuant to Section 418.108(b) of the Texas Government Code, the state of disaster shall continue until rescinded by the governor; and 7. That pursuant to Section 418.108(c) of the Texas Government Code, the declaration of a state of disaster shall be given prompt and general publicity; and 8. That this declaration hereby authorizes the use of all lawfully available resources and authority granted under both the Constitution of Texas and the Constitution of the United States; and 9. That this declaration shall take effect immediately from and after its issuance and shall continue in effect until terminated by the Governor. Be it furthered RESOLVED, a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas, the State Republican Executive Committee, and the Governor of the State of Texas. DECLARED this 3rd day of October 2022. _______________________ This resolution is consistent with that passed by the State Republican Executive Committee (SREC) formally requesting such action on behalf of the Republican Party of Texas.
